72-Hour Visa-Free Policy
1. Chengdu
Approved by the State Council, Chengdu has become the fourth city that implements the 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy. It has been applicable for visitors from 45 countries, who have a third country visa and valid air ticket, to stay visa-free for 72 hours since 1Sep. 2013. Another 6 countries was add to it on 1Dec. 2013.
2. Chongqing
From 30Dec., 2013, Chongqing has become the fifth city that implements the 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy. It has been applicable for visitors from 51 countries, who have a third country visa and valid air ticket, to stay visa-free for 72 hours
